Administrator:
A individual appointed by the probate court in the absence of a will, to manage or distribute the assets of a person's estate and pay all debts.
Administrator, Cum Testamento Annexo or With Will Annexed:
One appointed by a probate court to administer the estate where the deceased left a will but failed to name an executor or the one named as executor fails to qualify.
Affidavit:
A written, printed, or videotaped declaration or statement of facts, made voluntarily, and confirmed by the oath or affirmation of the party making it, taken before an officer having authority to administer such oath.
Appeal bond
A type of bond set by the court and filed by the appellant who had a civil judgment entered against him to forestall issuance of execution until the cause can be passed upon and disposed of by the superior court.
